What makes Argentina such a great choice for your next vacation? Here are ten reasons why you should choose Argentina over anywhere else.

1. Buenos Aires – The lively capital city has enough to offer its guests that if your vacation began and ended here you would feel satisfied. From beautiful colonial architecture to pulsing nightlife there is something to do any time of the day or night.

2. Iguazu Falls – Iguazu Falls pushes 61,660 cubic feet of water per second. It is arguably the biggest waterfalls in the world and is absolutely magnificent. You will not regret a visit to this spectacular natural site. You can visit the falls from both Argentina and Brazil and it is recommended that travelers see both as the perspectives are very different but equally remarkable.

3. Valdez Peninsula – Fly to Puerto Madryn from where you can visit the Valdez Peninsula, a beautiful nature reserve and World Heritage Site. A tour of the Valdez Peninsula visits Puerto Piramides, the only town on the peninsula with between four and five hundred inhabitants.

4. Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego – Ushuaia is considered the southernmost city in the world. The scenery here offers breathtaking views of snow-topped mountains, the Beagle Channel, lakes and vast natural forests.

5. Perito Moreno Glacier – Just 40 miles from El Calafate, this gigantic glacier is 200 feet tall and the most amazing glacier in the park. Visitors are afforded intimate access with walkways and footbridges that allow you to get up close and personal to this amazing natural wonder.

6. Bariloche – Bariloche is the hottest ski and snowboard city in South America. In addition to being the outdoor sports capital of Argentina this city is a cultural center as well, with the beautiful Museum of Patagonia, the Palaeontology Museum and the Cathedral.

7. El Chalten – With the icy peaks of Mount Fitzroy, Cerro Torre and other famous summits grabbing your attention, El Chalten should not be missed, especially by trekkers. Known as the ‘trekking capital of Argentina’ there trails in and around the surrounding mountains, offering light hikes to serious mountaineering treks.

8. Mendoza – Mendoza is the kind of city where you go for a visit and never leave. Its sluggish pace, beautiful countryside and surrounding vineyards and lovely people are likely to enrapture you from the moment you set foot in this country.

9. Salta – This sophisticated capital of the northwestern part of Argentina is a cultural center with lots of museums, cathedrals and churches. There are an endless of options outside the city in the region, such as outdoor sports: mountain biking, trekking, motorcycling, etc. The salt flats are absolutely beautiful and the famous Train to the Clouds offers fantastic scenery through rugged variable forest.

10. Ibera Wetlands – This nature reserve located 600 miles north of Buenos Aires is a swamp land that is more than 5,000 square miles. It is loaded with wildlife including Caiman, capybaras, swamp deer, howler monkeys, anacondas, manded wolves, armadillos, etc. You can take excursions by boat, on foot or on horseback.

No matter what the purpose is for traveling to Hong Kong, it offers a myriad of activities and conveniences to a vacationer, cultural explorer and nature lover. It is truly one of the most exciting and diverse destinations in the world. The moment you step in this city and book into one of the luxury or cheap Kong hotels, you’ll never run out of reasons to love it.

For one, City provides you with a host of memorable attractions. You’ll marvel at the diverse contrasts. Imagine cityscapes near soaring mountains and then finding yourself in heritage sites close to an extensive countryside. Check out Victoria Harbour and ride the Star Ferry. Visit The Giant Buddha – deemed as the tallest bronze, outdoor-seated Buddha in the world. If you want spectacular views of City, The Peak should never miss your itinerary. If you’re traveling with your kids, what better way to enjoy the city than to bring out the child in you through Disneyland!

As most of the attractions are close to cheap hotels, there are also budget-friendly accommodations near the pride of City – its shopping districts. This means, you can conveniently bring it all to your hotel suite before you embark on a new shopping experience. Whether its gadgets, clothing, home decor or accessories you’re after, the city can offer you with several shopping destinations. They have glitzy malls, funky street markets, trendy boutique stores, themed shopping districts and even traditional Chinese product stores. Everything from antiques and collectibles to the latest designer fashion can be found here.

Of course, after a whole day of touring and shopping in City, you need to retire for the day so that you can start on a new adventure the next day. Most tourists who visit City find it hard to resist the urge to shop so it’s best to plan your trip before you go to this city. As much as possible, set a budget for your shopping, touring, food and for your hotel expenses. To save more, you can book into decent yet cheap hotels with 2- or 3-star ratings. When it comes to amenities and facilities, these accommodations are still highly recommendable.

Budget-Friendly Hotels in Hong Kong

New International Guest House – If you’re looking for nice yet cheap hotels, this lodging should be in your list of options. Aside from its convenient location In Nathan Road Kowloon Hong Kong, it offers clean rooms and comfortable services. Amenities and facilities include AC units, Wi-Fi access, security, room service and airport shuttles as well as dry cleaning services, clean linens, coffee and tea makers. Accommodations include single, double, twin and triple rooms.

Cosco Hotel – This hotel has many positive reviews as compared to other cheap hotels. For a low $54 US per night rate, it is perfect for business travelers. It offers clean rooms with en suites and TVs. Although they don’t serve breakfast, their rooms have a small fridge and kitchenette where you can stock up on food. They also have computers with free Internet access in the lobby.

If you are on a tight budget there are still many ways for you to travel cheaply. The main factors to think about are the most common expenses you will encounter when you travel. These are accommodation, food, drink and activities. What you spend on these expenses will determine how expensive your trip will be. The following are 7 tips to help you save money:

Tip 1: When you travel you can make a huge difference to how much your holiday will cost. For example, many holiday operators can double, even triple the prices of holidays during the peak season. The peak season will include the summer months and periods when the schools are closed and children are on holiday. You can save considerable money by traveling during the off-peak season.

Tip 2: Along with the cost of the flight the accommodation can be the most expensive cost during the holiday. If you prefer the comforts of staying in a hotel then make sure you shop around for the best deal. Hotels are always doing special deals therefore, it pays to ask what deals are on offer.

Tip 3: Camping is becoming more and more popular these days. It is also considerably cheaper than staying in a hotel. You also have the added advantage of not having to queue up at the airport to catch a flight. And the kids love it.

Tip 4: Timeshares have had a bad reputation in the past however, they have become far better regulated and are becoming popular again. It basically means that you buy a time share of a condo or apartment for a certain period during each year that you have the timeshare.

Tip 5: Home swapping is becoming more popular and there are many companies that help you with this. However, you can also do a house swap with a friend who lives in another part of the world. All you have to pay is the flights, food and eating out.

Tip 6: Before you know it you can run up a massive food bill while you are on vacation. If your hotel has inclusive meals such as breakfast or lunch then, take full advantage of them. Many hotels serve buffet breakfasts so use this as an opportunity to fill up. Take some fruit and bread with you for snacks later.

Tip 7: You will probably want to eat out sometime during the holiday. Go to restaurants where the locals eat as they usually do not charge tourist prices. Also, eat out during lunch if you can as the tourist restaurants tend to charge more for the dinner menu when it is basically the same food being served on the lunch menu.

Jersey, one of the Channel Islands in the English Channel (in contrast to Jersey, USA), is a small yet beautiful island, perfect for a short holiday.

The island itself is as far south as France (St. Malo is less than 4 miles away and visible on a clear day) and so whilst still part of the British empire it benefits from far better weather.

This weather means not only an ideal place for camping, beaches and outdoor pursuits but also you will see a profusion of plants and animals not normally seen on mainland Britain. Most notable is the only British population of the Green Lizard, often nicknamed the Jersey Green Lizard for just this very reason. Reaching around a foot long, and the males possessing a bright blue throat they are certainly a wonderful (if rare) sight to behold. Red squirrels can still be seen here for the eagle-eyed and dolphins may often be seen during the summer months.

Talking of beaches, whilst the island only measures a few miles long there are beaches for all occasions. Long, sandy beaches perfect for surfing, more protected “sun bather” beaches and wild rocky outcrops covered in breeding sea birds. There are even some caves that only appear at low tide.

You can arrive by ferry or plane as Jersey is well served by both a safe port at St. Helier or an airport on the west side of the island.

Escaping from the attractive but busy main town of St. Helier, venture to the northern half of the island for the “true” Jersey experience. Rolling fields filled with Jersey cows producing thick, delicious cream. Farmers fields green with the tops of Jersey Royals – the finest new potatoes around. Greenhouses filled with flame-red tomatoes. Foxglove-strewn laybys and meadows and the deep blue sea. There are also castles and fishing-boat filled coves to enjoy.

Jersey has a low national speed limit, plenty of narrow tracks and a “no caravan” rule making it a great place to walk or cycle, and an efficient local bus service covers the entire island. Exploring this small island is therefore safe, practical and incredibly good fun.

Other things to see here are the underground tunnels used by the Nazis during the war (the Channel Islands are as far north as the invasion got) and the world-famous Durrell Wildlife Preservation Trust (or just “Jersey Zoo”!). It was here that a small boy fell into the gorilla pit many years ago much to the shock of his parents. Alive, but scared, rather than being attacked, the boy was watched over and looked after by the gorillas until keepers were able to extract him safely.

Personally, I like to camp though there are plenty of hotels around (less self catering accommodation though) of an international standard. Being a tax haven, Jersey boasts rich businessmen, private jets and Ferraris making it a more British Monaco. English is spoken, they drive on the left and they use the pound. There is, however, a lovely “French” feel in the style of the houses, many French place names and in the excellent quality of food available here – especially the seafood.

The Channel Islands also consist of Guernsey, Alderney and Sark, all of which can be reached by one of the inter-island boat services in operation over the summer months and day trips to France from here are easy to arrange.

The Paris Hotel, Vegas, is located on Las Vegas’ famous hotel strip. Guests cannot mistake this 3,000 room hotel for anything else because of the miniature, re-created Eiffel Tower that adorns its entrance way and attracts tourists from miles around.

Eager visitors are swept into the world of French fashion with classy European furnishings and décor; however, they can still get the standard king or queen bed set-up, as with any other hotel along the strip. Basic amenities include basic Internet, phones, in-room safes, movie selections, ironing facilities, hair dryers and bathrooms lined with marble, to mention a few examples. Other features include everything from a concierge to 24-hour security, and valet/free parking to money exchange facilities.

Anyone who knows Vegas knows that a visit to the Paris Hotel, Vegas, means entertainment that is outstanding. The famous hypnotism/adult comedy show entertains audiences every Thursday to Tuesday nights with constant changes. Famous stage shows and Broadway musicals are also popular. However, this is Vegas and the hotel’s huge casino, located near its renowned opera house, mimics European gambling styles with grace – roulette, craps, a high-stake area, and countless slot and video gaming machines are all here.

Of course food and drink also lends to the Paris Hotel, Vegas, legend. With varied restaurants, cafes, bistros and pub-style lounges available, and the fantastic room service, the hotel has put itself on the map. The prestigious Eiffel Tower Restaurant, on the 11th floor, is a firm favorite. Others prefer the French selection found at the Rossini, Ortanique, Mon Ami Gabi and Cafe du Parc. However, each one is unique and has had rave reviews from travelers.

The hotel’s other attractions include a huge promenade lined with many useful and exciting stores, ranging from gift to general convenience. Guests can enjoy nightly tennis, spa rejuvenation, supreme fitness facilities, a tanning salon, a rooftop swimming pool/hot tub/whirlpool/sauna and nearby bar. As the sun goes down, the Paris Hotel, Vegas, spins into action with a late night nightclub.

The hotel also accommodates events, banquets and meetings with specially designed areas, fully equipped with all the up-to-date technology a happy businessman could desire. The business center staff are always on hand to provide additional help.

All-in-all, the Paris Hotel, Vegas, has set a standard that is appreciated by travelers worldwide. It has a wealth of facilities worth trying, but is still within walking or driving distance of many of Vegas’ hottest spots.

Finding the right student accommodation can be key to making the most of your university or college experience. Our tips here can help you find quality student flats in London, catering to many different budgets and tastes.

1. Location is often everything for students. Many prefer to rent in more central locations near their campus, to minimise travel times and costs, including the congestion charge for central London. Wherever you choose make sure there are easy and reliable transport links – you don’t want to be late for class!

2. Students often move to a city they do not know well. Research new neighbourhoods thoroughly – what are the local amenities, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, libraries, leisure facilities. In your neighbourhood you might just find bargain haircuts at top hairdressing academies, massage at Westminster University, cinema at Leicester Square’s Prince Charles, arts at the ICA by Trafalgar Square, clothes at the markets in Greenwhich, Camden, Spitalfields, and Brick Lane plus food at Borough and flowers at Columbia Road. Your student experience is as much about your time outside uni as the time you spend inside.

3. Expert advice is invaluable. London is sometimes described as a series of ‘villages’, with unique characteristics for each neighbourhood. You may not find the information all in one place so look around. In particular make sure you search with the right suppliers to get a realistic picture of what you should expect for your money.

4. If you’re moving from your parents, maybe you can’t wait to experience the freedom but at some point you’ll end up missing your family and home comforts. Consider where your family and friends could stay. In a spare room? Hotels cater to every need from 5 stars at The Dorchester to respectable budget chains dotted around the capital. Entertaining visitors is easy, from Big Ben to the Natural History Museum, the National Portrait Gallery to the Tate Modern. Tour the BBC studios in Shepherds Bush, shop on Oxford Street, hunt down antiques in Islington, catch a West End musical – catch the latest info in one of London’s free newspapers.

5. Moving from overseas can be very stressful. Most universities and colleges have specific resources to help international students and help with improving English language. The British Council near Charing Cross also provide relevant information.

6. There is no such thing as one-size fits-all ‘student accommodation’. Everyone has different needs when it comes to accommodation to suit them. London is a high speed, busy city, so a sanctuary is important.. Some like to share with their friends – this might especially suit you if it is your first time away from your parents.

7. Equally, you may prefer to have your own flat. This has some advantages – you can control when there is peace and quiet and get a break from the ‘university environment’. Again, do check the journey is easy enough to your campus and friends.

8. Do consider the feel of the place you’d like to live. London’s history lends student flats in London a vast array of architectural styles and features. You can find loft style living, period places with original features, open plan styles and more traditional homes. Again, your home should be your haven, so the feel is definitely important.

9. Remember your needs may change throughout your course. Campuses could change from south to north of the river, transport may change, or sharers may like to try having their own space, or vice versa! Stay flexible.

10. Finally, moving to a new city can seem daunting. London is an amazing place to live and study but it is a big city. Make sure your new pad has all the appropriate services, security and insurances.

I’ve traveled a lot and have been to almost every one of the lower 48 States. Twenty years ago, my husband and I, while living in Seattle, chose to vacation in Myrtle Beach. Four months later, we moved to Myrtle Beach and have enjoyed its benefits year round ever since.

I’d like to give you my top six reasons that Myrtle Beach is a good choice for your next family vacation.

Here we go!

1) The weather is mild year round, especially when compared to Florida, where I found the heat and humidity very oppressive in the summer season. There are 215 days of sunshine each year, and the overall yearly average temperature is around 70 degrees, according to statistics found on the weather channel.

2) There are no swarms of sand gnats in South Carolina. Don’t laugh – until you’ve lived or vacationed far enough south for this to be a reality, you won’t appreciate what I just said.

3) It is very easy to find deep discounts on lodging and golf packages in Myrtle Beach, especially from September – April, when the weather is still spectacular most of those months.

4) Myrtle Beach is a golfer’s paradise, with over 100 courses to choose from, some designed by well-known designers and golf professionals. The very first vacation we experienced in Myrtle Beach in 1989 was for my husband to play in an Invitational Golf Tournament. He had played golf for more than 25 years, and to say he was excited would be an understatement. Any golfer, no matter his skill level, can find courses that will challenge and provide a fun day on the links.

5) There’s something for everyone in Myrtle Beach – romantic getaways for couples or even great spots for beach or plantation weddings; tons of family activities, (dozens of mini-golf courses, go-cart racing, batting cages, parasailing, and many other water sports…the list could go on); shopping galore; and a great selection of entertainment, including a diverse selection of music and shows.

6) The lodging choices are amazing. You can choose an older beach home for a large group, a small oceanfront condo, a cozy bungalow in a quiet area of the beach, or a full-service hotel and resort.

When our friends and family visit (which is often, now that we live in Myrtle Beach), we enlist the help of the finest Oceanfront Vacation Rental company because they make life easier when we don’t have to worry about the comfort of our guests. The owners of this company have lived in Myrtle Beach all their lives and are very experienced in helping you find just the right place.

I invite you to keep this link handy, so you’ll know who to call or contact if you should want to visit the lovely strand of beach that I call home.

Florida is a beautiful state of United State and has not only well known business houses but the state is also one of the favorite destinations for tourists. Since the beginning of American Rule in Florida, the emphasis was given to develop it as a tourist destination and there are evidences that a luxurious hotel was built at Tampa in early 19th century and later the railway networks joined the various parts of state.

Seashores beautifully surround the state and therefore the sea has enhanced the cultural beauty of Florida. Florid has one of the best beaches in the world. It is one of the most preferred destinations for tourists and therefore the hotel industry is also one of the growing business areas in the state.

There are a lot of hotels for sale in Florida at all along the state. Most of the hotels for sale are in the coastal regions of Florida and are better options for increasing the business or diversification of the existing business. Looking for hotels for sale in Florida is not a tough job and you can easily search the website and can get an idea about a number of such hotels. The growing population and better tourists’ spots are available all along the state and hence there is still a lot of scope for increasing the strength of hotels in the state.

Florida is not only surrounded by beautiful coastal line and beaches it has a lot more of attracting tourists. It has amusement park, museums and parks making it a perfect holiday home. The nature has also given the state the perfect map for attracting people from all over the globe. Being one of the preferred destinations for tourists the demand for hotels in the state is continuously growing up.

If you have an investment plan in real estate in the state of Florida, investment in hotel will be a better option. The investment in one of the hotels for sale in Florida will be beneficial for investment as well as for expanding business opportunity. The prices of real estate grows at a faster pace than investment in any other options available to us and at the same time a good return on investment from hotel is also expected.

We must see that the hotel location is suitable for tourists and the price bargain is in our favor. The accessories available at the hotel should be attractive and good-looking and we should ensure that the cost to the customers do not go beyond the reasonable rate. The investment made by us for the hotels in Florida state at the right location will not only benefit us in long term but the income earned from the hotel will also grow in future.	What Does an Online Review of a Hotel Really Mean?

The internet has now made it possible for word of mouth to spread beyond the boundaries of traditional social networks, so much so that you can now expect to take the views of relative strangers when deciding on where to stay when taking a short break or going on holiday. Whilst this can be useful to making a decision on a location you are unfamiliar with there are some things to watch out for…

People are more likely to complain if they have had a bad experience

It sounds obvious, but of all reviews on any website, most of the time the person has felt compelled to write because they have had a bad experience. This means that the reviews are generally always stacked against the hotelier. Whilst they may of had 2 bad reviews, there could be 2000 customers out there that have had a positive experience, but did not feel compelled to write because they have had a positive experience.

People’s expectations may not be in line with the hotel’s own values

Frequently I see hotel reviews that are just not in tune with what the hotel has to offer. Hotelier’s; whether branded or unbranded are usually very good at describing themselves accurately, particularly when it comes down to location, facilities offered and size. Therefore they believe they provide enough information for the guests to make some assumptions. For example a hotel smack bang in the middle of Manchester, right next to the city centre and motorway is unlikely to be quiet, however you will see people reviewing the hotel complaining of the noise. It is basically a given that the hotel is probably going to be noisy. The biggest guideline is often in the star rating. Star ratings are issued by a number of different bodies, and vary from organisation and from country to country, therefore it should be treated purely as a guideline as criteria for awarding the rating can differ. In broad terms though, it is unlikely that a two star hotel will deliver the same service as a five star hotel. In-fact the two star hotel may well deliver this level of service, but the reality is that guests should not assume that they will.

Have the reviews been responded to?

A previous guest may have left a bad review after raising a complaint and in-fact have been compensated for any legitimate problems. A hotelier that is focused on customer loyalty and customer service will in-fact respond to bad reviews to either ascertain whether there is anything that could be done to improve things, or if the problem was resolved and the previous guest is merely being malicious then will stipulate any compensation the guest received. This refers back to earlier in the article whereby guests are more likely to complain in the event of a bad experience.

Check out a number of different sites

It is a cultural thing, but people from different locations approach reviews in different ways and have different expectations – ensure the hotel reviews you are looking at are taken from a variety of sources.

Picking the right accommodations for your race can have a positive impact on your Ironman experience. Here are five important tips to consider when choosing that all important place to stay.

(1) Be sure to book early. The longer you wait to book the less options you leave yourself. Often rooms are booked a year ahead of time. Athletes who know there is a good chance they may return to the same race the next year, will re-reserve a room before they leave town. Even if you’re not entirely positive you’ll be ready to race the following year, book anyway. Even if a deposit is required its normally 100% refundable if you give them fair notice. Its not usually a problem at an Ironman venue, because they know there will always be someone else to take the room.

(2) Location, location, location. This is very important. You want to try and get just the right distance away from the race start/transition area. Often there will be a hotel listed as the race headquarters. Most likely that’s where registration will take place and at most IM races, this hotel will be right beside the race start area. You definitely should try avoid staying at that location for a few reasons. First of all, it will be very, very expensive. It will also be very, very busy. Its simply too close to the action and hype.

By the same token, don’t book so late that you end up staying outside of town. Its just not convenient for registering, the expo, and carbo and awards dinners. Also, you don’t want a drive so far, that you have to worry about car problems causing you to be late getting to the race start. Don’t leave anything to chance. I would say the perfect distance would be about a 15-20 minute walk. That would make it about an 8 minute bike ride or around 5 minutes by car if you’re driving. That way you’re close to everything, but still have a bit of buffer zone from all the hype.

(3) Remember that by going to the host IM website for accommodation information, you will most likely only be given a few options. Often they will give you a list of expensive hotels and if at all possible you should try and avoid staying in a hotel room. A better option is to key the the name of the race venue into Google. For instance “Penticton accommodations” if you’re going to Ironman Canada. Or “Kona accommodations” if you’re going to Hawaii. This should bring up a better variety of available accommodations with contact information etc. The best method I ever came up with personally was to phone the chamber of commerce of the particular city(pretty well every town or city has one). You’ll get a real live person who actually lives in the area and you can tell them exactly what you’re looking for. They will also have all the phone numbers for you.

(4) Find a motel with full kitchen facilities. Avoid hotel rooms unless its your only option.
A fully equipped kitchenette will have a stove, fridge and all the dishes, pots and pans and utensils. Its absolutely the best way to go for an Ironman competition. Also, the are often less expensive than the fancy hotels. With a kitchenette unit, you can just go shopping at the nearest supermarket when you arrive and basically be able to stay with the diet you are used to. Personally, I think its a far better and safer option than eating restaurant food three times a day. You just never know for sure what you’re eating. Also, you have a refrigerator to keep your drinks cool and in between meal snacks fresh. It really is the very best option.

(5) Try and make sure you are not right on the Ironman course. This can make it difficult to return to your lodging after the race. For the most part the roads will be closed until the last few entrants have reached the finish. try and be at least 2 or 3 blocks either side of the main course. When you arrive at your choice of lodging, be sure to take practice drives (if you have a car there) down to the main transition area. Decide ahead of time where you plan to park on race morning. Once again, stay away from the main course as you may find that you can’t get out after the race. Leave for the check-in and numbering on race morning as early as possible. The prime parking spots will be gone very early. If you’re in short walking distance, (15-20 minutes) you have nothing to worry about. Try and avoid walking to much further than that, as you will have your bike and all your gear to haul after the race. It would be ideal if you had someone to help you out after the race.

Ultimately, planning ahead will make your Ironman experience all that much better. Make the choices that will make your stay stress free and enable you to concentrate on the race itself.
